NowHere is a collective founded in 2018 in Lisbon by curator Cristiana Tejo and artist Marilá Dardot, both Brazilian immigrants. Initially operating in Marilá's studio, the intention has always been to create an instigating, open, and respectful environment for the discussion of conceptual and expressive strategies of the participating artists, offering interlocution, complicity, and integration into the local artistic environment for people of all backgrounds. With the passage of time and the growth of the community, there was a need to have a physical space that could hold both laboratories and exhibitions. In 2021, artist Luiza Baldan joined the group and, in 2022, it was the turn of producer Rafael Moretti, completing NowHere's current management team.

And here we continue, a collective of immigrant women mothers and our aggregates, adapting to the times and challenges, on a busy corner in the city center, sheltering, inventing, supporting, and giving visibility to those who embark on this incredible journey on the route of streetcar 28.
