Marilá Dardot

Visual artist and Master in Visual Arts from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The artist's work crosses, among other points, the memory constituted by culture. From works dealing with books, literature, and language, to those dealing with themes erased from history by political positions, censorship, gender, or time. In recent years, Dardot has constituted a group of works from the observation of historical narratives that go through recurrences, overlaps, or the ephemerality of news.
